A Tea Party and Fashion Show Celebrating Empowerment and Inclusion

Hosted by Lisa Lister Reed, Woman of the Year 2025, in partnership with the Women’s Resource Centre.

As Woman of the Year, Lisa uses her platform to advocate for human rights, and she personally champions disability rights while bringing visibility to organizations advancing equity and inclusion.

This special fundraising event will bring together dynamic women, thought leaders, community champions, and the fellow Women of the Year honourees for an afternoon of meaningful connection, celebration, and advocacy.

Programme Highlights
The afternoon will include:

 

  • Special musical performance to set the mood.

  • Spotlight: International Women’s Day - Women of the Year honourees.

  • Facilitated table conversations designed to inspire reflection and connection.

  • WRC Impact Moment, sharing insights into the Centre's work and its important service to women throughout the island.

  • Feature presentation on the WRC Circle of Support initiative.

  • A fashion show by Nannini Fashions, followed by a beautifully curated boutique shopping experience.

About the Women’s Resource Centre
For over 30 years, the Women’s Resource Centre has been a lifeline for women navigating crisis, transition, and growth, offering essential counselling, resources, and advocacy to strengthen their wellbeing and independence. Your support helps sustain these services and creates pathways to safety, stability, and empowerment for women across Bermuda.

Ticket pricing includes a charitable contribution, with guests invited to provide additional funds to further support the Women’s Resource Centre. Donation tiers include:

  • $50 – EmpowerHer Supporter A contribution that helps expand access to essential services for women in need.

  • $100 – Strength & Stability Champion A meaningful gift that strengthens core programmes, supporting women through crisis, transition, and growth.

  • $360 – WRC Circle of Support Partner An annual commitment aligned with the WRC’s monthly giving initiative, joining a community of women helping to sustain long‑term organisational stability.
